Hi I have a question about mind mapping and activation.

Am I right in saying that you have to do your mind map after each activation pass and reflect and recall info then put it into your mind map from your memory?

Why do you have to do your mind map after an activation pass? The reason I am asking is that say the chapter is very big and you have had to dip in a few times to get details? You then eventually have to try and remember everything you dipped and mind map it.
Can you not mind map during the super-reading and dipping stage? That way you are capturing the information and recording it as you go along and not worrying about recalling everything at the end of the pass.

I can see the point that it would slow things down a bit if you mind mapped during the activation pass, but the informaition I am looking for is very specific. For example, I am learning databases and SQL and my mind probing question for a chapter would be: "what is a 'WHERE' statement and how is that used? I then start my skittering and dipping. When I do reach the part of the book that explains this, it also gives an example of the code. The code is really the meat that I was looking for but If I am to mind map after the pass of the book, it is hard to remember the exact example. The only way to alleviate that would be to note the example during the activation pass.

The photoreading system says that you do multiple activation passes and at the end of each pass, reflect and do your mind map. I my situation I am finding it hard to do this. I seem to have to note the info as I go along which can be quite slow.

Can anyone help me with this? I have already asked this question in the forum before and I have not had a response. I am becoming very frustrated with the situation because I have not had clarification or and explanation of my problem. I would really appreciate someones help because I really want to master the system as I believe it will be of great value to my career as I always have to learn new programming concepts and techniques.
