You can mindmap while superreading & dipping not a problem.
I would keep it short though.Just get what you need and move on.
I would make a point of having your mindmap ready to go before superreading and dipping. In other words have your center theme already ready and all your branches drawn out.That way you are not spending your time drawing but spending your time on looking for the information you seek.
The photoreading system is flexible. The photoreading system is not set in stone. It is ok to adjust,adapt and change to according to what your needs are and what you are trying to accomplish.
You do not have to mindmap from memory. Number one you just don't have the time to do it. You know what you want, you know what you need so go for it.
Make sure you write down the page numbers on your mindmap when you find a example of a code you were looking for.
