hi frenchie ,
well, i am not french, but english,is still a second language for me..
1.now for that general question you have of the activation, see remembering something which you already know,in other words "recalling"it,is different from what you gain from photoreading..
the "Aha" experience,or tip of the tung phenomenon as paul calls it,is you know someone's name you recognize him but can't recall his name, its repression mechanism, since you met that friend months ago,you stored so much information above that, its repressed or defragmented..photoreading helps overcome repression, its just available to you if you practice ph ring.
the spontaneous activation takes place without your effort,i too was in doubt when i first started learning photoreading 3 weeks back,i photoread so much but i wouldn't get any insights no special ideas nothing.untill last week i completely stopped photoreading,i always regretted that i didn't know how to talk to people,i used to say something really stupid but since last week i had this inner voice in my head advising me what to say,and my friends were impressed of my commune skills..i believe that skill was gained from a personality dev book call HOW TO SELL YOUR SELF by Joe Girard..great book really..
when you start activating be child like..be a beginner, not the expert. ask your self the questions..
there's nothing weired abt the photoreading,do you find it weired to see you computer work?? its the same thing the other than concious is like this big super computer ready to assit you.
2. why do stick with a page for 5 secs?you only need 1 or max 2 secs..the idea here,is to look at the center crease of the book, that splits the two pages apart, then you'll be in the photofocus, notice the empty spaces,margins..then move on..
just keep playing with the steps then you'll understand it even ,more completely..because "experiencing is believiing"
