In regards to Dr. Wenger and Paul along with the rest of Learning Strategies, I really love what you guys are doing. I am vary familar with most of the techniques and love using them every day. The one thing I would suggest you guys might want to add to the photoreading process is Light Speed Reading or Visual reading. Rapid reading is nice as well but both of them have their uses. Alright to my question. I strongly believe that synesthesia can be a learned experience. The whole point of image-streaming is to build new connects to parts of the brain that you would never use otherwise. People that have synesthesia simply associate color for instance and use color parts of their brain when reading letters or numbers or listening to sound.

Now since image-streaming is so good at building connections and allowing people to more of their brains, there has to be some type of image-stream related exercise to help people become synesthetic.

Though I strongly believe that everyone can become synesthetic, I also believe that I might have a little advantage because I am left handed along with all the other passive traits and use to believe that 3 and M was green.

With that said I already came up with a few ideas that are directly related to Dr. Wenger's book and the Genius Code.

Don't bother saying Synesthesia can't be learning or anything like that, especially people that work for Learning Strategies which would be interesting because a lot of this whole Genius code thing says that people can never achieve more than their believed limits. I will give my ideas to become Synesthetic to anyone interested and will actually post my ideas after a couple replies to the topic, it is just I would like to see a fresh new idea that I know isn't influenced by my ideas first.

Thanks a lot!

This is really interesting. I'll be following your ideas closely.

Why don't you image stream, over the wall, or think tank the answer to this question - or borrow genius from a synesthetic person!

Sky's the limit. Tell us what you come up with.

Thats the whole idea actually :P jk

I did read a few books on people that either were strongly Synesthetic and / or had similar skills that I wanted to master. After researching them, I researched Synesthesia, general visual spatial thinking ect. Of course the whole point was to look for the common denominators and use the ones that work for me and get what I want out of it. I should and actually will write and post a paper online about this later because I believe no such paper exists yet that I have seen, which also works because one of my goals was to distinguish myself similar to John Nash via seminal / innovative work. I am not prepared to do that now but I'll give you a good summary of what I know thus far.

Your right about the borrowed genius thing from Synesthetics that have what I want. I felt and was suggested but Dr. Wenger was to know about the person decently enough before doing a borrowed genius to make it as authentic as possible. The most applicable people for this purpose I read about was Daniel Tammet for obvious reasons. His book Born on a Blue day is good because he whote it in first person so you could pick up first hand experiences. I may have picked up a couple but I believe simply watching his videos on video.google.com is more than enough. I'd watch a couple times to pick up on more details. One of my favorite guys I researched was Nikola Tesla. He wasn't synesthetic I believe but his visual thought process was off the chart. I took a lot from Tesla specifically including his Mental Reality. He even traveled to new exotic places in his mind. I believe a lot of that to be the key. I live two lives, in my mental one, I am already synesthetic. The more detailed it becomes along with a lot of practice and patience, I believe I can project the Synesthetic perceptions from my Mental Reality to this one.

I left so much out of it but I should say one more fundamental thing. I believe over the wall to be fundamentally flawed. I don't believe you would notice after the Genius Code but Dr. Wenger mentions it in his book The Einstein Factor. In his book, he mentioned people being scared that they had to become synesthetic for it to work. He said that, and I am paraphrasing here: His Over the Wall and similar exercises are meant to keep the full package in a safe place, hence the name "Over the Wall". One one hand, you have a constant you have a constant Image-Stream but for some reason you put a wall up and only look over the wall when you feel like it. To become fully synesthetic I believe you have to kill the editor as much as possible by tearing down the wall and straight up train your brain to flow the lowest levels constantly. With that said, I feel people will simply reply to me, thats the point of image-streaming, constant flow via back of the mind. I know but over the wall in a way contradicts that by keeping many of the low level thought away behind the wall and that should not be. I also believe the term Image-Streaming confuses people, especially if they want Synesthetic perceptions. Image means Visual, they stress not just visuals but thats what Image means. I would suggest something like Sense-Streaming or Perception-Streaming, and yes the majority can be visual. Just symantics that confuses beginners.

At this point I kinda read the above and am not happy at all at what I wrote. It seems like I clumped a lot of my argument against over the wall which is not the case, thats just a tiny part of it. Instead of rewriting it I will just put some quick bullits below on good things to do. I can answer any questions. Ill post a link to the paper whenever I finish it.

*On a piece of paper in the real world and colered pencils pick a color for each number + letter you feel deep down to match up. In a sense, relearn numbers and the alphabet. Many of them I felt strongly to match up while others not as easy. In time it will become second nature.
*Metaphorical Thinking
*Mental Reality - I have a cabinet of people such as Tesla and such.
*Projection - Develop detailed mental Imagery and practice Projection in the real work ie I am synesthetic in my Mental Reality then I will practice projecting my mental perceptions in the real world. Everything from a Fantasia moment whenever I want especially when Music is on to Colered Letters + Numbers.
*A good combination with image-streaming but separate would be Meditation, most of the top people say that it also builds connections like Image-Streaming and can bring Synesthetic perceptions as opposed to LSD. I like the TM style but the money is ridiculous. I did not buy it.
*Belief - I believe Belief is one of the biggest parts of it and not just a simple bumper sticker term to motivate people. Believing can get the whole brain to work at whatever you desire.

This is a very brief post, I can clarify whatever you guys have questions on. It seems ridiculous how people say you cannot learn to become Synesthetic, not only I believe the connections to already be there but offline but you can build new connections as well. Btw sorry for whatever I spell incorrectly, I dont feel like fixing them all, I have a little dislexia which isnt bad because I visually read most of the time anyway. :P

Remember, You get more of whatever you reinforce. That one term works with basically everything, including Synesthesia.
