I've tried once again photoreading a chapter, and it took me less than 30 minutes ( most of the time i've spent was writing a mind map) to make it gel for me. I remembered 90-95 percent of material and I did not even get tired.
Now I will train to become a better photoreader, so that maybe someday I won't be needing for example a mind map(mind map really helps).
So you think we should spent this long time for skittering and get just one chapter done? So it would take a newbie 3 hours to activate on chapter, or even more! Damn, thats a long time! When you see it from this point, the "magic" in PRing seems to dissapeer :-(.
It really depends on the chapter.
Since i am a newbie too, we could share our experience... Do you have an MSN Messenger or something?
