Do during your exercise plus 10 - 20 breaths two or three times Daily and gradually build up.
Master Lin has always advocated the use of Reverse Breathing. When you breathe in pull your tummy in a little and when you breathe out let your tummy out. DO NOT hold your breath, keep the breath moving and regular.
This is the same breath which has been used for 10000 years plus by the Yogis in India who follow the Kriya Yoga Tradition. The actual technique was secret and could only be learned from a Kriya Yogi: but here is a broad reference.
Kriya Yoga is a simple pschophysiological method by which the human blood is decarbonised and recharged with oxygen The atoms of this extra oxygen are transmuted into life current (energy) to rejuvenate the brain and spinal centres. By stopping the accumulation of veneous blood, the yogi is able to lessen or prevent the decay of tissues. The advanced Yogi transmutes his cells into pure energy.
They teach that Elijah, Jesus, Kabir and others were past masters in the use of Kriya or a similar technique, by which they caused their bodies to dematerialize at will.
A description of this technique can also be found in the Bhagavad Gita.
'Offering inhaling breath into the outgoing breath, the Yogi neutralizes both these breaths: he thus releases life force from the heart and brings it under his control'.The interpretation is :-
'The Yogi arrests decay in the body by an addition of life force and arrests the mutations of growth in the body by 'apan' (eliminating current). By neutralizing decay and growth, by quieting the heart, the Yogi learns life control.'
Kriya Yoga also recommends meditating on the sound 'OM or AUM'
We are very privileged to be able to learn these long hidden and secret techniques.
Thank you Master Lin and Deep Gratitude.
Love and light
