Is anyone else bothered by Jeddah's poor audio quality? I took another teleseminar with my same phone where 2 of the participants sounded perfectly and the rest including the instructor were barely understandable. Some phones or microphones are apparently better than others.
I missed the first session with Jeddah and listened only to the downloadable mp3 file. The quality was so good she sounded like she was in the same room but this morning on her live call it was so bad I could only understand bits and pieces and was not able to follow the meditation.

I called in from home today, and I had a superb connection. When I've had lousy sound in the past I'd call back in, or try my calling card, or use my cell thinking I could find a different route to the call. That has usually done the trick.
But...the quality of the download is superb. We have a microphone on Jeddah in her meditation room to make sure that sound is good.
I loved today's meditation. I'm going to do the meditation by recording before bed tonight after the concert at Orchestra Hall--maybe I'll bring my iPod into the auditorium to have the orchestra provide the backdrop to the meditation. Hmmmmmmmm.......

I was just checking questions that folks wrote in for Jeddah after this morning's Pathway to Enlightenment meditation.
A participant named Sharon wrote:
"No question...just thanks. This was the best meditation of my life. I am full of love, gratitude, joy, and my smile has never been bigger. Heartfelt joy to all. Thank you thank you thank you, Sharon"

Wonderful meditation yesterday. I felt great for a while. I was really looking forward to downloading the MP3 last night to listen again before bed, and am a little discouraged that I cannot. As a software guy, I understand "Technical issues" all to well. I hope this issue is resolved soon. I plan on listening to week 2 every day. For the first time I can remember, I actually felt peace of mind (again, for a while), and quite frankly would like more. Thanks for offering this program.

We're still trying to get the file from Jeddah--she's having isp issues and is unable to ftp the file to our site or to the transfer sites. Everything was working all week--she sent us three files beautifully. Hang tight. Pete

Thanks Pete, the phone sound quality was much better this week. She seems so sincere and the material is so fresh and intersting you don't want to miss single word.

Hi there,
I joined the course about two to three weeks late so I have been listening to the mp3 files so far.
I have tried to listen to the recording of Week 2. However, there are far too many crackles and pops to hear anything Jeddah is saying :-(
I am very eager to continue the course by listening to the recording of Week2, but can't because of this problem.
Please would you upload a clear recording so that I may meditate without all the background noise?
Many Thanks!

There is no way to repair that recording, there were problems associated with it. Having been a live recording not something processed in a recording studio with multiple takes.
The best way to work with it is to tell yourself it won't affect you and just listen anyway. The way I see it the background noise is there for a purpose. To help us learn grow beyond minor irritations. What better way to do learn that than to work through the recording as it is?

I found listening to the recording of Session 2 with headphones annoying. When I played it just through the speakers at a lower volume, it was just fine. We think we isolated the problem so it shouldn't happen again. Sessions 1 and 3 (and all of the test sessions) have been perfect--Session 2 was the bugger.
What have you noticed from the course so far?
Pete
