Hello everyone,
So, um, I have kind of a weird idea : mixing some techniques in order to get the best out of PhotoReading.
We know that in order to PhotoRead, we must attain an accelerated learning state, i.e. alpha state. I believe that, if you were to listen to alpha state binaural beats, it would help to maintain that state. You can create your own thanks to the software on this site -
http://www.bwgen.com/ - or buy one, specifically for entering the alpha state for a few dollars from I-Doser.com.
Next, I recently have encountered a new healing technique called EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique (free pdf file available here :
http://www.emofree.com/downloadeftmanual.asp ). It basically uses a few spots on the body where you tap, in order to cure almost anything, varying from anxieties, fears to pain. What's that got to do with PhotoReading, you say ?
Well, in itself, not much really. The only thing that caught my eye, is that before you apply the tapping, you must say an affirmation while tapping a spot (the karate chop spot), or rub the "sore spot", near the chestbone. If you don't, there is a chance that the tapping won't do anything at all ; this phenomenon is described as being the Psychology Reversal. Thus, tapping that point while repeating affirmations will "redirect" the mind so that healing can take place. Here's what they say about it :
"Psychological Reversal is caused by self defeating, negative thinking which often occurs subconsciously and thus outside of your awareness.
On average, it will be present...and thus hinder EFT...about 40% of the time. Some people have very little of it (this is rare) while others are beset by it most of the time (this also is rare). Most people fall somewhere in between these two extremes. It doesn't create any feelings within you so you won't know if it is present or not. Even the most positive people are subject to it....including yours truly."
Now, I was wondering, would that kind of tapping also help with PhotoReading ? I know that whole thing sounds odd but, hey, PhotoReading is kind of New Age too.
Sorry if I made any mistakes, English isn't my mother tongue.
