:P that's shooting yourself in the foot. You don't have time for reading and by the sound of it are not exactly super thrilled about it and you're suggesting you yourself you want to read more? And haven't got the time to enjoy leisure reading anyway?
That's like saying I want to learn to take the rubbish out faster so I can take more rubbish out. Bit of an extreme comparison but the non-conscious minds reaction is going to be the same.

"WHAT???? You must be crazy! I'm doing just fine getting out of this job and you want to do it faster so I can do more??? Why? the strategies I've been using up to now to keep minimal contact with rubbish (reading)has been working just fine thank you and if you think I'm going to agree to that just watch me maintain the status quo!"
In sort ... that isn't really a purpose. You have to be more convincing than that.
