It just means you need to use superreading more. Rapid reading is a combination of all the reading styles. Superreading down to skittering down to rhythmic perusal to analytical reading. It depends on how familiar you are what your questions are and what else you want to know. You adjust your speed according to need throughout the book.
Rapid reading is the same as the other activation techniques. The only difference is you start at the beginning and end at the end. With general activation you start where the answer to your most dominant question lies.
You're not supposed to get it all in one go. Use a timer with 10 minute warnings so you can push yourself.
