Has anyone tried Reiki with QiGong. I don't mean doing both at the same time, but do the complement each other? Has anyone had experence with Reiki that does QiGong now? If so what type of experence was it. I am reading about Reiki now and am thinking about learning more about it if anyone can shead a light on the subject I would sure appreicate any info I can get on Reiki and QiGong. I have been doing Spring Forest QiGong for some time now and can't say enought about it, it has helped me a lot. Just would like more.

Thanks

Cleo - I'm a Reiki master teacher/practitioner but I haven't started doing QiGong yet. I work with a woman who's been doing both for quite some time, though. Today I mentioned to her that I just ordered the SFQG (how DO you guys abbreviate that?) CD's. She told me that Reiki will REALLY exaggerate the QiGong effects and to make sure I'm well-grounded after doing the QiGong exercises. She said that I might possibly end up with headaches or other mild ailments due to a build-up of chi energy if I don't "ground" myself.

I received this SFQG CD/DVD in the mail a while back, and yesterday I did the breathing exercise for the first time. I noticed that my hands got HOT almost immediately, and that there was a very clear sense of energy being "balled up" between my hands and getting pumped into my tan tien.

Find yourself a well-qualified Reiki Master; someone you trust, and take the classes. You'll love it.

Hi,

Yes there are Ending Exercises after each Qigong session.

Welcome to SFQ!

My friend at work was right. I've done the introductory Qigong exercise for the last 3 nights in a row, and every morning since then I have woken up with a pounding headache.

I asked her today for more detail about "grounding", and she suggested sending Reiki to someone after doing Qigong to help "bleed off" some of the excess energy.
