Ah yes, this topic has never ceased to bring about large amounts of attention, and actually one of my favorite topics to research and discuss, as well.

Now, about Reading Genius. Reading Genius was horrible, so I've decided that when I find a good enough deal, I'll try out Reading Genius 2.0 since I hear that's pretty good. But the original Reading Genius, in that purple case, was really bad, so don't get that.

In the way of speed reading, I found Howard Berg's Maximum Speed Reading to work quite well, though this differs greatly from his Mega Speed Reading. I've tried them both, and Maximum Speed Reading is at least 3 times better.

The farthest I've gone with Evelyn Wood's Reading Dynamics was the book written by Stanley Frank, or something like that. This worked very well for me, since I was in just sixth grade, or maybe it was fifth, but one of those two, and they teach you techniques to use at anytime with any reading, even if you don't use the handmotions and such. I found my comprehension was quite well, but something was missing. I was stressed while doing this, and after taking Photoreading I realized that they never taught you much about getting into an ideal state for reading.


I actually am considering purchasing Reading Genius 2.0 within the week, though not from the website, it's too expensive.

After I go through it, which will most likely be within the month, but you never really know how things will really turn out, I will definitely post my experiences, and I'll even message you explaining things in detail if you'd like me to.

Photoreading is great, and it's worked very well for me. I don't know why I'm straying away from it, but just know that it's NOT because it doesn't work, because it does work. For now, I would continue photoreading if I were you.

With all of these courses, which I was taught by Alex K, you must be active. I had a problem of being a passive reader. Never questioning, never really thinking, just letting the author guide my way through the story while I just sat there for the ride. All of these courses require energy, a passion for the information in the book, and activity. Just remember that with any course you do.
