What is the difference between the two? I have listened to self-esteem super....and IPM many times, and feel great after them. However, I feel something missing. I know I am charismatic, but there is still a void?

If anyone has a clue what I am talking about, any help for me to understand will be appreciated.

Well self-esteem is feeling good about who you are.

Self-confidence is believing you will succeed at what you do.

I can see that it is easy to have self-esteem without self-confidence. I suspect the reverse is also true, but less likely to occur.

What your void is I can't guess. Oh who am I kidding, I love to guess. You said you were charismatic but empty (your void, my words). Maybe what you need isn't popularity?

I don't know if that helps, but I was one mirror. If you don't see yourself in it, maybe another will present itself.

Sending love,
Iam2

To add to that, Al Siebert, author of Survivor Personality and creator of Resiliency course with Paul Scheele, talks about three inner "selfs" to describe what makes some people emotionally stronger than others. He also tells you how to strengthen these "selfs." The three "selfs" are: self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-concept.

He describes self-esteem as your emotional opinion of yourself, or how you feel about yourself.

He describes self-confidence as your reputation with yourself, in other words, acknowledging what you do well, or your action predictor.

He describes self-concept as the "gatekeeper" that controls your ideas about who you are and what you are as a person. Inother words, your identity in the world.

That sounds great. So with Resiliency, I will be able to improve Self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-concept?

Just to confirm, self-concept will help me figure out and fill my inner void of confusion with actual solid structure of what I believe and want in life?

I am buying this ASAP! Any feedback on the Resiliency product is appreciated.
