This is my one of my favorite topics to be sure.
But, I do not remember reading any sales hype that taunted any claims to spontaneous activation?
There is a bit of it in the course, but I got the feeling more like it was first a theory that 'others' made good on and reported back to Paul.
Anyway, my experience with it is similar to my practice of mysticism, where you just keenly 'know' a thing as you require to know it.
Usually this spontaneous knowing is predicated with or by a 'demand' for said knowing. Otherwise you remain quiet and still thinking what you will.
This is not so mechanical, but subtle like a spider web. However, I have always had this skill from early childhood and for other personal reasons, some harsh I sought to develop it (think survival).
But, since taking up photoreading, this process has amplified many fold. Very nice to pick up new software and programming languages etc. Very handy for speeding up familiarity to new skills and demands thereof.
What are you expecting? To spit off details, like names, places, facts, numbers etc?
I would say, photoread some books on memory mnemonics.
Remember though, the fore-conscious mind need be calm and clear most of time not cluttered with the information of the last 100,000 pages of material you could very easily photoread.
Additionally those who are good at such things do not, by their admittance hardly remember a detail from the previous days performance. There are some very compelling restrictions to the healthy use of the fore-conscious memory.
