I started out with 20/25 vision. A QUACK said that a minor problem was EYE STRAIN! I have that problem TO THIS DAY. Ironically, he said my weaker eye SEEMED stronger simply because it had less astigmatism. Anyway, it was insisted that, if I used them ALL THE TIME that it would help my problem. It just made me dependent. Still, I had OK vision, and could easily pass the DMV test.
Some IDIOT insisted I see a diagram that they should have made better. I decided to get stronger glasses. My corrected vision is 20/20 and I can see just about any little thing anyone else can, but STILL couldn't see their ridiculously small print. Still, I got dependent and, a few years ago, had SO much trouble with the DMV eye test that I chickened out and used my glasses.
ALSO, I am apparently unusual in that I am far sighted and my main problem is astigmatism. Still, I wake up seeing FAR better and I think today I had the best vision I have had in years, and I didn't tire. If I could even get to 20/40 with fairly clear vision, I would be happy. That would ALSO probably be good enough to have the DMV remove my requirement for correction.
