marianne - I am so very sorry to hear of your struggles. Hang in there.
Remember that God doesn't give us anything we can't handle.
You have everything you need to cope with what you're faced with.
Remember to breathe.
Be conscious of your muscles, especially those around your neck and shoulders. Progressive muscle relaxation techniques can be very effective in helping the body relax.
Be conscious of what you're eating. Maybe you should experiment with reducing / eliminating things like caffeine, excess sugars and so forth.
I'm a teacher and I'm discovering more and more kids with food and other substance allergies that can negatively impact their behaviors. Some kids react very badly to some foods and environmental substances such as ingredients in cleaning solutions and they really act out. You may also want to think about being tested for allergies. You never know.
Don't forget to do the ending exercises after practicing Qigong. Warm bubble baths with subdued lighting and soothing music can also help settle your Chi as will almost any mundane activity (doing dishes, housework, taking a walk, etc). It can be advantageous to "get out of yourself" by focusing on (shifting your attention to) other people and their needs.
I'll add your intentions to my daily prayers and my twice-daily meditations. If you wish, I can send you Reiki twice a day - once around 2pm and again around 9 or 10 pm (eastern time, United States).
