I try to practice both active exercise, small universe and self concentration, but at this point I am unable to focus on anything else but this totally allabsorbing fear wich has taken over.....

Could anyone out there please send me som long distanse healing??
I would be forever grateful for any help.

marianne - I am so very sorry to hear of your struggles. Hang in there.

Remember that God doesn't give us anything we can't handle.

You have everything you need to cope with what you're faced with.

Remember to breathe.

Be conscious of your muscles, especially those around your neck and shoulders. Progressive muscle relaxation techniques can be very effective in helping the body relax.

Be conscious of what you're eating. Maybe you should experiment with reducing / eliminating things like caffeine, excess sugars and so forth.

I'm a teacher and I'm discovering more and more kids with food and other substance allergies that can negatively impact their behaviors. Some kids react very badly to some foods and environmental substances such as ingredients in cleaning solutions and they really act out. You may also want to think about being tested for allergies. You never know.

Don't forget to do the ending exercises after practicing Qigong. Warm bubble baths with subdued lighting and soothing music can also help settle your Chi as will almost any mundane activity (doing dishes, housework, taking a walk, etc). It can be advantageous to "get out of yourself" by focusing on (shifting your attention to) other people and their needs.

I'll add your intentions to my daily prayers and my twice-daily meditations. If you wish, I can send you Reiki twice a day - once around 2pm and again around 9 or 10 pm (eastern time, United States).

This is the same response I gave the last time you asked for help with anxiety:

Hi marianne,

I understand how you must feel. I am someone who has had more than his fair share of anxiety and panic attacks in life. I've had my share of depression as well. But no more.

Yes Spring Forest Qigong WILL help you. IF you do it regularly.

SFQ has helped me in this way tremendously. So of course I recommend it. Be sure to include regular meditation as well.

Qigong is all about balance. When we have anxiety our bodies are out of balance. Namely the liver. Watch this video on youtube about one of the six healing sounds to balance the liver. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqDQCufkOHk

I also would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend regular exercise.
If you don't do this already please find something that you enjoy that gets you up and moving. There are numerous test and studies that show the healing power of vigorous exercise.

Lastly when doing Qigong remember to keep a slight smile on your face.

JEFF

Thank you so much for your advice again!! I totally agree about the exercise, but at this stage I`m unable to do much at all, I have tried to go for a walk, but had to stop, as I feel so weak from not eating for days, so my priority now is to "forcefeed" myself to get some stenght back, and then I`m absolutely going to exercise, as I now this helps, and also prevent it from comming back. And of course keep practising SFQ \:\)

Thank you for taking the time to answer.

All the best

Hi Marianne,

Rose Quartz reduces anxiety for me, quite dramatically. I have one in a wire wrap that I wear on an eighteen inch chain. Some people have told me that the quartz is right at my heart chakra. It may be worth a try for you. I bought mine from http://www.heavenandearthjewelry.com.

Peace,
Peg
