As long as the pages are completely within your field of vision, you will photoread just fine. I have not had to image an X to Photoread well.
You can test your Photoreading results any time by Photoreading a book, setting it aside without looking at it any further, and waiting for about twenty minutes.
Then ask your mind questions about the book, and pay attention to the answers that you seem to be simply creating from nothing. Those are likely to be the actual answers.
For books which are well-indexed and easily accessed, use Photoreading to give you an ease and sense of accessibility to the content above what you already had. You will find in these situations that the material comes readily to mind, even without the use of the index.
