Hi Spiral,
There is nothing to endure. You make your physical alignments, merge with the universe, you call on your Master's energy. From there, whatever the experience, it is within the blessing of the practice. You can trust your experience, to be within the support of the spiritual energy you call upon, and all experience,,, relative to where you are at in your current state of being.

The dream thing is fine. Sleep is not an error or side track to find yourself on. Nothing negative in this at all. Yawning can be a physical side effect of releasing. Whenever you come to a state of self awareness in your meditation, upon waking, or after a few dreams, just return to the focus of the meditation, as seamlessly as you can. No self judgement of the process or self. It is easy to do that.
Know that your active and inactive have a direct relationship with each other, and they are part of a transformational process that supports transformational growth and healing. You may gain in your active, what will help you in your inactive, and vice versa. Develop your relationship with your master's energy. It can be a substantial working relationship. If you have a concern, leave it in your master's energies hands, so to speak, and relax into whatever your meditation experience is. Be consistant with your practice.
love,
gallen
