If that is limiting your relaxed experience with the mediation, allow your self to take two breaths for those sounds that are longer than your regular breath.

Yes, it's an important meditation for so many reasons, and one is learning to go with the flow (or the sound, as it were), whether it's longer or shorter than a single breath of yours.

You can work into that meditation as you feel ready, and at the same time - as the member, Shakurav mentions above, sometimes it's those "less favorite" exercises or meditation that can allow for the biggest breakthrough at that time in our life.
