I'm one of those photoreaders who learned the process years ago (about 4 to 5) and only used it when he had a bind or early on but abandoned the process.

The real reason I didn't have complete success with photoreading when I learned it almost 4 years ago was I didn't want to do the work. I already didn't want to do my school work in highschool and photoreading required you to actually do work. It just made you do less work. I didn't want to do any. Plus I was one of those guys who thought he was just gonna instantly activate the information without doing any of the steps.

But now I have evolved as a person and am willing to do work and take my like gagillionth stab at photoreading but this time make it my regular reading habit.

I've experienced alot of activation scenerio's that i've liked to share.

Instant activation:
It was so beautiful. I had photoread the book 7 habits of highly effective people and one day I had just got into this state of mind where I was full of ideas. I came up with this idea for planning my day and it was really detailed and good.

I didn't even know I was instantly activating until I read the book 7 habits of highly effective people again and realized that what I had came up with was exactly what that chapter was talking about.

So to those guys who ask about instant activation all the time I can say for me it kinda feels like it's your own idea when it happens. As if these ideas are fresh and new and their yours.

Photoreading to take exams:
On the day of the exam I would photoread the CIS book (i'm in college now) and try to just subconsciously feel out which answer was correct in a multiple choice setting.

Now usually I know you guys say that this is disastrious but I had some interesting results.

On the scantron the first row of problems were almost all wrong. But the second and third row was almost all right. It seemed that my mind had got use to the process and was helping me activate the information. I still got a low score cause the first row on the scan tron was wrong. But as far as photoreading goes that's some impressive results.

I've done this about several times and got varied results. Since I was doing that good just trying, I'm sure that once I really actually start doing manual activation ALL THE TIME i'll be able to do that with 100% success.

photoreading and regular reading:
Sometimes I would photoread something and then regular read it. One time I did this for a networking class and I was pleasently surprised that I was moving so fast through the material with just regular reading it was too good.

I've just come back to photoreading for a week or so now and I take a dowsers approach to it. I simply my finger down the text and wait for my hands to manual stop themselves and read. It seems that whatever I stop on is prudent information and it always seems to come together to make a story.

I don't mind map. I don't ask questions. I don't do more than one pass.

So for the limiting process I've been doing I've been doing preaty well for myself throughout the years.

Now I'm going to take on the whole process and see what happens. I'll post results as I go along.

One thing I haven't experienced in all these years is the information "gelling" to your conscious mind and you being able to never forget it. I want to experience that. I already know that what I should do is to "say the affirmation that you want the information to gel to your conscious mind and just photoread some more and it'll come" besides that is their any other suggestions?

I'm open to any advice anyone can give me though.

Hi Infinite Light, great introduction!

Great story.

So far as the above in quotes; just do more Photoreading, a lot more and keep to 'one' subject of very keen interest to you.

It will happen!

I live there, where it mentally gels and then always 'have it' as it were. I press on persistently to that place as the only place 'acceptable'.

Probably because I experienced it a long time back and know what it is.

High Regards,
Yukala

Did it take a while for the information to start gelling to your conscious mind Yukala or was it something that you experienced early on in your photoreading career?

Hi, it was both something I was already familiar with prior Photoreading but where Photoreading accelerated the process very significantly. However, it still seemed to take awhile (a few months). But I have been very ambitious, now Photoreading well over 100,000 pages in less than 6 months.

I think it works faster when once you are accustomed to Photoreading and you also keep to a focus or topic.

I really am my own person with my own backgrond and my own perspective on things.

When you think someone is someone else on the internet, all you gotta do is analyze their typing styles with the person thta you think they are and it kinda becomes obvious because it's hard for people to hide such things.

But it seems that the deeper issue here is that perhaps, just perhaps, you don't believe that people can come on here and post success instead of problems which kind of makes my existance unbeliavble I guess.

No brain you are mistaken. Infinite Light is Infinite Light and Photoread4me is Photoread4me.

We are two completely different people.

Brain,

What in the world ever made you think two completely different people were the same person?

That's nice Brain. But answer our question what in the world made you think Infinite Light & Photoread4me were the same person?
