in skittering, we need to pick up the topic sentence of the paragraph.
In the 4th edition of "photoreading whole mind system", there's a line like this which i dun really agree "• Read the first sentence (also known as the topic sentence) of
the paragraph you are going to skitter."
Sometime the topic sentence is not necessary the first sentence. If it is so, then ppl may consider reading the last sentence. But what if i read both the sentence and yet cannot get what the paragraph means?

If you are reading both the first and last sentence of the paragraph and you are bouncing over the words of the paragraph and you still do not get the meaning of the paragraph do skittering on 2 paragraphs instead of 1 paragraph.
