Fortunately the 8 grade level of reading is sufficient for learning PhotoReading. Try setting yourself up with material that is more your level of reading and build from there. It's not necessary to skip a couple of grades to catch up. Use the system to your advantage build your skill using material that is at your level and accelerate from there. You might be surprised how much faster you progress instead of trying to skip the grades.
