I can photoread books ok. But when i put all my lecture slides together and photread them it is like another language. I can see the letters clearly, however they're all mixed together, maybe because i'm too cross-eyed. And now it's starting to develop as a habit for when i photoread books. I can't get rid of it... Arg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be of good cheer!!

You are probably just morphing into a new species.

Photoread with the cross 'x' method instead until the habit of going cross-eyed passes.

I'm a bit unsure as to what u mean... is that the imaginary x that goes from each corner? This technique is more for expanding the peripheral vision isn't it?

Yes, sorry!

I have gone from using the blimp in the middle or that seeming cross-eyed to using the 'x' technique and then to not worrying about using any 'seeing technique' at all.

For I encountered the same problem; it got 'too easy' to see the middle as a third page and I was staying there or going into it without trying...

Success can be wonderful.

However, I plainly believe it does not matter as you see all things you look toward or at and record them all the time. (your whole life) So you can just confidently flip through the pages casually with intent and focus.

Concluding; the key centers upon intent, purpose, and activation for goodly use, not how you look when you flip the pages.

Spending some quality time with the basic idea of how and why we are and do 'record' all that we see, hear, or feel could be very beneficial, building up within this basic conviction.

Steve are you PhotoReading a single page? In that case, the text will become scrambled on the page.
