I don't think you should be so concerned with something as little as the blip page. As long as you are not focusing on the text on the pages, rather in the middle of the book, and can still see the four corners of the book, you'll be photoreading.

The blip page will have text in it, it all depends on how close the words on the page are to the center of the book. That's not a big deal.

The text should be blurred when you're in photofocus.
If it goes away for a second or two, it doesn't matter. As long as you see the whole book and you're not focusing on the text you'll be fine.
