With PhotoReading you will find pen and paper much easier. There is a lot of mind mapping software available. It comes down to personal preference. I have used mind genius and iMindmap and others. I prefer the programs to the online java ones because they allow more free flow, variety in font and picture placement is free. While closer to the hand drawn version, I find using software much more time-consuming. Also, I am not lock to a computer when they use pen and paper. This makes it much easier to work with books as well as PDF files. I'm not always switching screens when I use pen and paper.
