As long as you get to your destination the road you take is completly personal. We are all diffrent, and diffrent things work for diffrent people. I have tried both Insight CD and Holosync. I feel they both work great, but it hard for me to put my finger on which one works better. All I know is that I am slowly evolving, and getting where I want to go. I will also agree that if you cant expirience holosync because of the price the Insight CD is great as well.

I still think that the VantageQuest CD is the best. And I do not work for them. I've posted about them before and my posts are ignored. It's a great tool that is over looked!!!

Has any one else tried the VantageQuest CD? Also have you also tried Holosync and the Insight CD from awakened mind?

I usually stay away from this topic because for me holosync does not work. Quite simply because the CD does not have enough volume for my hearing. I have also used the insight CD, that one with the same high quality headphones and CD player, I can hear and I find it quite pleasant.

Vantage Quest is quite entraining when compared to Insight and Holosync and volume is excellent.

When it comes to these types of tapes and CD's I have a collection and vary which one I use Holosync never comes up as a choice. When I see holosync not working for someone I merely figure that the CD might just be ouside the individuals perferred hearing range. Insight might just work better for them because the CD puts out more volume than Holosync or it's quite possible that neither CD will have much impact.

Holosync - for me- does not work (outside my hearing range) If I'd have known more about it I wouldn't have bought it in the first place.
Insight - for me - nice meditation session (have others I prefer more)
Vantage Quest - for me - very entraining, nice subsitute for my L & D device.

I use 'none' on a daily basis.

I had never heard of binaural audio before but the Awakened Minds site caught my attention. Being the cheapskate that I am I went looking for a free alternative.

I found this link on Google. It's an 80 meg MP3 download zipped, 60 minutes of audio. The author claims it has the carrier of Holosync level 4. He also claims to have studied the other commercial solutions out there (TMI products, Holosync®, Awakened Minds, etc.) and produced this as a result of that study.

Here's the audio: http://www.astralpulse.com/membersfiles/binauralabyss.zip

Here's a link to the forum where I found it: http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7718

Can anyone tell me how it compares to Awakened Minds?

I used Holosync daily for two years and was very disappointed at the results.Since last October I have listened to the Awakened Minds CD and am very happy with the results.I feel much more centered,in control and aware to name a few.As I look back now, which is easy to do.Holosync was a waste of my time and money. But as in most things,go where you feel the most comfortable. It is all an individual choice.

If Awakened Minds entrains all major brain wave frequencies at the same time, then that should be far more powerful than the holosync. I never had much success with holosync, so I may give this a try.
