Hi Criss,

Photoreading is not reading. The whole point of photoreading is to expose the information from the book to the other than conscious mind. You do not read when you photoread you expose the book to the other than conscious mind.

Photoreading is not about developing a photographic memory.

When you do your activation that is the time when you consciously get information from the book. As i said earlier purpose is extremely important for photoreading to work. In activation you look for the answers to your mind-probing questions based on what your purpose is. Having a goal having a clear idea of what it is that you want from the book happens during activation not during photoreading. You search for the answers to the questions you wanted answered by superrreading and dipping and skittering.

It has been said many times on the forum do not try to learn photoreading on school textbooks and school materials. Better to learn and master photoreading on self help books books that have nothing to do with school. After you have mastered the techniques on 10 non-school books then you can start using the techniques on school books.

Right now you should just use your regular study techniques the way you normally study. If you know how to do the photoreading step that is fine but i would not spend time learning how to activate right now better to spend your time studying. So if you can photoread fine but just study and read the regular way. It only takes 3 to 5 minutes to photoread a book and by photoreading you will expose the books to the other than conscious mind.

Remember photoreading is not reading you are not supposed to see the words when photoreading the words should be a blur because you sending the information from the book to the other than conscious mind when photoreading not the conscious mind.
