I just received Focus & Concentration. Will converting this to mp3 to play on my mp3 player affect the quality?

It is likely that the Holosync component will be affected. Centerpointe recommends to use the WAV or other non-compressive transfer. I used WAV for all my 30+ Paraliminals transferred to my iPod.

A lossless option is naturally best. However, you can convert into a 256 bit rate MP3. Take care to preserve the stereo soundtrack.

I think you should be able to do it through one of the programs which allows you to import music from a CD to a computer. In my case, I use iTunes because I have an iPod. So on the top I click on EDIT, PREFERENCES and then IMPORTING, which contain a pull down menu with import formats. I am sure other programs use a similar procedure. Ask a friend or family member to assist you.

If you are using Windows Media Player, you need to go to Tools - Options - Rip Music Tab. There should be a little Format window. You can select the format you want. After you have done that you can rip the CD to your computer, this way you can play it without the need of a CD and you can also synch it with your mp3 player or iPod.

This may be a dumb question but can you get the paraliminal effect using the ear buds that come with ipods or do you use stereo headphones?

I believe any buds will do the trick. The difference of different type of buds is how deep they go in frequency. Those that come with the iPod only go down to 20Hz. If the frequency of the Paraliminal is lower, it will get cut off. However, there is no way to notice if it gets cut off. I always used buds that go down to 8 or 6 Hz as I use them for Holosync too.

Ear buds are fine. Not recommended for the health of your ears but no problem for Paraliminals.
