I too, must admit I am perplexed regarding editing using iTunes. I am a Mac user and I don't know of any way to do that using iTunes.

However, there are mp3 and other audio file editing programs for both Mac OX and Windows users, some of which are either free or very inexpensive shareware.

I use MP3 Trimmer most of the time. It is a very inexpensive MP3 editing program. I am fairly certain there are Windows compatible applications that do the same thing. I used MP3 Trimmer to make my Om-Muah only edit for Small Universe, as well as various versions of the Active Exercise (short sets, longer sets, combined Level I & Level II sets, sets with more music in the beginning for bouncing and other warm-ups etc).

Audacity, which runs on pretty much any operating system (I think. I know it runs on both Mac & Windows), I am pretty sure can also be used to edit audio files.
