Hey guys, sorry to disturb you again but I've one more questions.
I activated the book I had photoread in the morning today
and wrote down a list of 8 quetions I wanted the book to tell me about. I did this by scanning its index (which was pretty detailed and clearly showed each heading of a chapter).
just now when I activated it, for every 2 queations out of 3 I was able to get a very,very,very faint intuition about where the answer could be. And I found it there.
But I doubt that I got that feeling because I saw the index, that's why I could say where the answer was.
tell me am I going fine ???
The way I formulated questions,was it fine??
Is this much progress good for beginners .
Answer as soon as possible.
I wanna master this as soon as possible ..

NO! Take your time and play with books. Forget about being the master. Remember NOPS formula. I believe PhotoReading (along w/ Paraliminals and other "self-help" tools) requires a leap of faith and a positive expectation. Keep practicing and believe results will come when they come. You must be patient and also believe the results will be worth the wait.

With that mindset you won't get what you want.

First of all, no one should tell you whether you're making enough progress as a beginner but you. You're the only one who should set your standards and goals.


You MUST build your body/mind connection, or bridge the gap between non consciousness and consciousness, before you will even know where to find the answers are. You haven't been doing this long. Don't expect to get the best results at first, you must do it often and make it second nature, then you will notice your progress.

Also, you stated you "doubted" the feelings you got.

Don't "doubt" them, don't even worship them.
Just NOTICE them.

Agreed, Jacktuff13. Hope I wasn't too emphatic. I was just remembering book and CDs state specifically "don't try to master, etc..."

Just have fun and practice til it works. At least this is my method.

It's absolutely fine to want to be a good photoreader though. Personally, I would like to be able to build a strong enough connection where I can have knowledge of the book at a conscious level after a photoread, through discussion or question/answer.

It's a goal though, and I can work at it. That's the type of goal you want to set for yourself.

Who's to say what mastery is? Maybe you just want to get through books in half the time, and you consider that mastery. Maybe you want to be like Pete. Maybe you want to be BETTER than Pete.

It's all about having something to work towards, and something you can build upon.

Got it!!! But what do you mean by NOPS please explain.

I saw where I was going wrong.

Ankit... too many questions to start with. When you have three you have enough to start an interaction with an author.

Think of it like a conversation with someone. If you only ever ask the questions you've written down you might miss the interesting ideas that someone starts telling you about . In a conversation you are more likely to form another question around that.

musashi7 "Try" is where the glitch is. The word try implies failure. If you try to become a master PhotoReader you are setting yourself up for failure. Just do or don't do. Follow your intention but don't try.
