Yes, the emptiness is a place I must visit more often. I really feel great after I've gone there. I wonder why I don't go there enough? Over the holidays I meditated so much, as much sometimes as two hours a day I think this had a lot to do with this being the first holiday season without my mother and it really hit me hard. After the holidays, though, I really cut down on the amount of meditation I was doing though I feel as though my third eye has been opening and this feels wonderful and powerful yet I fear it to some extent which I let block me from helping to heal others. I think there is so much I am still processing from meditating for such long periods which I have never done before. I've only managed to sit for an hour before this. These two hour meditations have been healing and profound. It's just of note that I haven't returned to even meditating for half an hour a day on a regular basis since the holidays ended. I bet my confidence will return once I begin practicing again and sending my relative healing energy. Completely trusting the universal energy is my big resolution this year! And letting go.
I've been doing the Sun meditations and Moon and the small universe. Mostly sun and small universe though. I don't do so many active exercises though I think I might incorporate them. Particularly the level two exercises.
Any advice for meditating long periods of time? I feel that my intution and dreaming life is much stronger than ever. I probably have some "stuff" attached to associating intuition and dream imagery and third eye stuff with alzheimer's/dementia but I am moving beyond this fear. Again these are trust issues. Questions that come up for me are, should I trust the information I get or is it even possible that I can stimulate the healing in others or am I hallucinating and losing my mind. I know that I am not and that the Qi is bringing this stuff up so that I can release it like butterflies into the world. But it just reinforces for me that i need to return to my Qigong practice on a daily basis again.
Anybody ever have similar concerns as these?
Love,
Griot
