Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum and very, very new to Fung Shui. I bought The Very Simple Law of Attraction at my local bookstore and loved it! I have ordered the Diamond Fung Shui Gold Course but it hasn't arrived yet. I have been out shopping for appropriate items with the limited knowledge that I have. I saw a painting at a local store but don't know if I should buy it. It is a painting of a "sung" vase-yellow in colour with green leaves on it. There is also a rolled up note with an iching coin on it with a black ribbon through it. The background of the picture is yellow colour (I think saffron) and the frame is done to look like red oriental wood (but with pieces missing to look "ancient".) I would appreciate any help with this. I could possibly go to the store and take a photo of it if that is allowed. I am looking forward to great changes in my life and want to make informed choices. Thanks and have a great day!

Aloha pppetal,

My apologize for getting to your post so late.

It all depends on where you are planning to place that image. Are you planning to place it in the C, NW,NE, SW, or W or your home or living room?

Much Love, Shawn

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I was feeling a little "lonely". \:\) To be honest I didn't have a plan yet for the spot for the painting
(not informed enough yet). I just saw it, thought it could be lucky but was concerned about the black ribbon on the iching coin(didn't know if was significant for death or misfortune etc). I went to the store and they coudn't give me any info so I emailed the company that made it and they couldn't help me either. I met a wonderful man at the trade show on Sunday. He looked at the photo I took of it (with permission from the store) and told me it was a bottle from the time of confucius. The artists signature was on the painting in Chinese Characters but he couldn't see the packet tied with the iching coin due to the light relection in the photo. He asked me to email the link (http://www.imagekind.com/ShowArtworkMuseum.aspx?imid=ISI_K35002) to him and he will try to look at it and let me know when he gets back to his home in BC. Thanks.
Pppetal
