Remember that you have free coaching by calling Learning Strategies and asking for a Diamond Feng Shui coach. They can assist you with questions about the course material. If it gets to the point of having to diagram out a floor plan to answer your question, that would be considered a consultation. Since you have some options of placement towards a good direction...
Are the windows curtained?
Of those three "good direction" positions, which seems to work best in the room itself - not restricting access to closets, etc.?
Being in the flow of the door may not be as big of an issue depending on if the door is closed at night, how much of the bed is into the flow, and where the flow has to move into.
My son's bed is a ways back from the door, and a small part of the foot board actually is in the flow. Not so much of a big deal.
