Dear All, I am enjoying the ES course and would love to share with lots of you. My question is: is there anybody out there? Is anyone actually reading this? Or am I shouting into an empty space? If you can read this..... and you are prepared to share with co-learners, please let me know. Surely not everyone reading this is passive or has the kind of friends to throw 'sharing parties' with. I am new to France and my language levels are insufficient to interact at this level with French people. Who wants to share with me regularly to keep me motivated, accountable and on target? Waiting to hear from you ALL! French Claire

Dear Uniquesoul - all the way from Australia, To be honest it doesn't matter a hoot what program you are working through, ES or another one. Perhaps we should consider this special intervention and go with the flow?
I am doing the Jack Canfield & Paul Sheele Effortless Success course. One of Jack's suggestions is to have the courage to share my goals and the steps I am taking. This greatly increases the power to succeed as it not only makes our goals feel real, but a partner can catapult us forwards too by setting the stage for accountability.
I have just finished writing my 101 goals and feel delighted. An achievement. Then I did the guided meditation (paraliminal) on Asking for Success. I clearly felt my highest guidance envelope me and then use a duster to clear away all the pain of the past. This was followed by a clear vision of having an eraser 'erase' asects that I no longer need (just like the magic eraser in lots of computer programmes). I didn't get any 'significant messages' (something that appears to upset others by reading their texts). However I was 'given to understand' that not all communication is verbal (how well I know this in real life), and that often the spoken word is inadequate to express or contain the real message. So I just sat back, watched the swallows wheeling around in a sunny sky (their first appearance this Spring), and allowed my highest wisdom to reshuffle my brain and open me to wonderful times ahead.
Thanks for reading me, Uniquesoul (and anyone else who is meant to read this). If you have anything to share with me - go ahead! Happy days. French Claire P.S. Three of my goals involve another trip to Australia. 1) Taking the family to some wonderful nature reserves (e.g the Pinnacles in W.A) and for a magical snorkle on the Great Barrier Reef. 2) Visiting Ayers Rock as a significant geological site complete with indigenous spirit 3) Running a course in the new UNESCO Geopark that an acquaintance of mine is helping to set up in Victoria - a volcanic experience. Next thing, I'll discover you are a geologist or something, Uniquesoul.

Like Unique Soul, I use (and adore) AFL, but have not yet begun my ES course, so much of what the ESers are talking about just goes over my head. I kind of wish they'd given each their own board, because pushing them all in together is a little confusing. I almost quit reading this one for that reason--I just can't relate to the ES posts.

Dear Jeanne, Well that is an interesting comment. So Alex (I mean the person who operates this interactive site), I hope you will take action today. I was confused too when I saw them both lumped together - especially when you read Alex's own advice in the introductory session for beginners, that being specific is vital for good operation. I think the whole site needs to be overhauled. It isn't serving its purpose - to effect sharing of experience and enable us to interact and support each other. What a pity that a malconceived site is causing customers to quit using it. Thanks to both Unique Soul and you, Jeanne, for the valuable sharing. Lets see what Learning Strategies does to improve matters for and with us. Have fun with AFL. French Claire

Overhauling this site is not an easy job like Alex mentioned. There is the need to transfer old postings to a new site and make them accessible. All this has to be at no cost to users. In essence this is a free self-support tool for those who have bought LSC products and those who are after an opinions on these products from current users.

Hi Claire,
Have you received a reply yet? I'm new just today and, looking at the history, I see this program has been active for 5 years. That could be the reason there aren't very many people discussing it. No matter though, there are no accidents!
How long have you had the material? What are you looking for in a 'fellow traveler'?
Enjoy! Seachele

Dear Seachele, I have had ES for about a month now. What I love about it is that it makes me feel really happy, blissful, everytime I work with it. I have just finished my third CD, have done most of the exercises, and, even though I haven't yet nailed down my life's purpose, I have gained so much clarity on what I love doing, and I am working towards goals as never before.
What am I looking for in a fellow traveller? As you say, there are no coincidences. I would like to build a circle of people whom I support and who support me in working through the ES programme, in absorbing and living the contents....
I would like to know what you are doing, how it is working for you.
I have created a visionboard which I am refining and updating as I filter through, prioritise and refine my 101 goals. I then created a goal board (with a clear written and visual blueprint) of some fairly easy to achieve goals, in order to demonstrate to myself that this process works. This has been hugely rewarding, 100% fun, and very enlightening for me.
Love to hear what you are doing and how it feels. Good journey, French Claire

Hi, I don't know much about the Effortless Success course but I do affirmations and spend time every day focusing on what I want and I feel much better for of it. I have actually manifested some of the things that I want and have noticed signs of some things coming to pass. I realize more than ever how much my negative thinking and erroneous beliefs about my powerlessness was what was holding me back. I meditate several times a week and spend every morning (just about) in quiet reflection. I trust my intuition a great deal more than I used to and continue to open my heart to the love and guidance of the universe. That said, my biggest challenge, however, is patience and trust. I am better than ever in these areas but I still do notice that I allow my lack of patience and feelings of self-doubt to slow down my progress. This brings up immense feelings of frustration at times. But once I review what I want and focus on my connection to everyone and everything I feel much better and allow the seeds that I have planted to germinate and grow. It is an exciting time!
I also made a vision board which I don't focus on so much(but I will) but it felt rewarding to make it.

Hi there Griot, It sure sounds like you should be magnetising wonderful things. I jsut wish I could write a testimonial like that about myself. Trust seems to be an issue for me too, meaning I don't know if I can trust myself to create the ideal affirmation, and can I be trusted to use what I attract approptiately. Which is bizarre as I am basically an honest and reliable person - yet I still have reservations.
And to all the rest of you who take the time to peek at the postings but don't add anything, how about a comment or two now and again. That will make this whole thing more dynamic.
Look forward to reading you all. A bientot, French Claire
