Hey there Doc Meek,
I think this part of France is a seriously cool place to live! We came over last Easter, put our kids (15 and 16) into the local lycee (high school) for a taster-week and they loved it - despite not speaking ANY French! So within weeks our dream home and life in Ireland were a thing of the past. We are infinitely more happy here. It is 20 C in the garden, the place is ablaze with the blossom of wild cherry trees, I have woodpeckers (with a scarlet head and underbelly) plus goldfinches eating at my birdfeeders. I found work within a week. My husband is a stone-carver and we settled 35 minutes from the only place in France that trains stone-carvers. What's not to like? The great food, strong culture and warm people are an added bonus.
Glad to hear you have ES. Not many people on this site appear to have it. I think it is a masterpiece. It is a blue-print for effortless success.
Take care now,
French Claire
