Just wanted to tell of a success I've had using the Dream PLay Paraliminal.

I have listened to the paraliminal on and off for about a year without any success in lucidity although I did remember my dreams more. Well a few weeks ago,I listened for about 3-4 nights in a row and on the last night I acheived lucidity.

I've had many dreams in which I'm the main character in a 007-type storyline. In this particular one, I was working with a female secret agent to rescue another female being held in a fortified castle. The woman I was with was an ex-girlfriend while the woman being rescued was a (hopefully) soon-to-be future girlfriend.

The point of lucidity came when I asked the ex-girlfriend secret agent the name of our target, and she told me the name of the other woman. In my dream, I remember thinking "you don't know her? ... AH HA!! This is a dream!!!!" Then a feeling of confidence like none I've ever known came over me. I left my partner, confidently marched into the castle, fought off a few bad guys, and found the woman.

Then just as I attempted to kiss her, I woke up. The great thing was that the feeling of super confidence was still with me and lasted the entire day.

Wow thats excellent. I have been using the dream play paraliminal for about a little over a year myself and to no avail I haven't had any success in lucid dreaming. But I did want to know when you remebered that you were dreaming how did the dream look and feel. Was it similar to your waking consciousness. What are the differences and similaraties.

Before realizing it was a dream, it was like watching a movie in which I was a character. After, the view became more like normal sight when conscious.

I've tried that with no success, but you can try.

I think the dreams are still random but after your in the dream and you realize your dreaming you then have some control of what happens.

That's great, Antonios.

Achieving lucid dreams for the first time is one of the best feelings a person can have. It can certainly repeat itself in new and different scenarios. When I am having one of those "trapped" dreams and realize that I am dreaming, the resulting feeling of freedom is overwhelmingly good.

As for sex in lucid dreams, I have an anecdote that I find pretty amusing. I sometimes think my dreams are designed by someone who is a combination of Woody Allen and Franz Kafka.

I was having a dream about being at an airport. Now, whenever I am at an airport I like to do some people watching. I find, for some reason, there is a remarkably large number of very attractive, and sometimes exotic women at airports. I like watching them and wondering about their lives, where they come from, where they are going to, etc. Well, in my dream I realized I was dreaming as I watched this very attractive blonde walking by. Bluntly, I said to her, "You! Have sex with me!" She looked at me for a moment and then said, a-matter-of-factly, "No." "What?" I said, "This is my dream!" In the same tone she said, "I know it is your dream, but I am still not going to have sex with you."

I was very surprised and amused by this. I had to laugh. What a spunky woman. I guess I was lucid but didn't have "full control."

But, as for sex in dreams, I find that barring any subconscious reservations against it, you can have sexual dreams simply by desiring them very strongly and imagining your dreaming taking sexual turns at various times during the day.

Babayada: Haha! That's great! When I was younger I had some sexual lucid dreams. The women in my dreams was much more passive and giving... I still would have liked that answer that woman of yours gave you. =)

I've actually use my dream play paraliminal just one night. I had not used it for a few months. I don't know if it was coincidence, but my dream was extra vivid and easily memorable, although I was not lucid.

Actually, a really cool thing was that I was PhotoReading the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy the night before, and I dreamt of myself as Legolas Greenleaf.

If all of you guys are into lucidity, you'd love the projects LGG(LucidGame Group) is working on. http://lgg.youngprer.com/

I've been using Dream Play a bit, and yes - I've noticed that while it is still difficult to attain lucidity using only this method, you still get vivid recall, which is a powerful step in the direction toward lucidity.

You CAN have COMPLETE control over your lucid dream. There is no limit and give no admission to any opposing idea. To the woman that said, "I don't care if this is your dream, I still won't have sex with you!" I would have replied:
"Look, you're my creation, you're in my mind, and that makes you me. I have control over me, so you are going to have sex with me. That's the only logical thing you can do right now. You get all the time in the world to not have sex with me when I'm awake, alright?"

Hold the belief that you have complete control as a truthful statement. There is no other truth, it is an impenetrable law that cannot be broken by anything.

Of course, you having complete control can cause a few things to happen. Sometimes, your mind will have to adapt to several repeated statements with specific conscious meanings. For example, your subconscious mind associates certain phrases, and ideas with abstractions that are usually beyond any rational conscious idea. If I were to say:
"I want this place around me to change into my street." Well, my street can be a lot of different things to the other than conscious. Being specific, even, sometimes does not even help. However, if you decide that there's a door behind you and through it leads to a particular location, it's easier for your mind to get the idea, many have found.

Dream Play is not good to listen to over and over and over again. It's best to alternate out different tapes, and some nights - no paraliminal at all, it seems, for me. I usually will use Side A of Dream Play for one night, Side B the next, no paraliminal but instead simple affirmations the night after that, and then Memory Supercharger, and then Personal Genius(with a purpose of lucid dreaming), and then no paraliminal again, and then back to Dream Play, etc, etc, etc.

Just some thoughts.

I believe you are right, and that you can have complete control over your dreams ... but you know, I don't *want* to have complete control over my dreams.

Some dreams I would like more control over, certainly, but I don't think they'd be as interesting had I complete, conscious control over them.
