If all of you guys are into lucidity, you'd love the projects LGG(LucidGame Group) is working on.
http://lgg.youngprer.com/ I've been using Dream Play a bit, and yes - I've noticed that while it is still difficult to attain lucidity using only this method, you still get vivid recall, which is a powerful step in the direction toward lucidity.
You CAN have COMPLETE control over your lucid dream. There is no limit and give no admission to any opposing idea. To the woman that said, "I don't care if this is your dream, I still won't have sex with you!" I would have replied:
"Look, you're my creation, you're in my mind, and that makes you me. I have control over me, so you are going to have sex with me. That's the only logical thing you can do right now. You get all the time in the world to not have sex with me when I'm awake, alright?"
Hold the belief that you have complete control as a truthful statement. There is no other truth, it is an impenetrable law that cannot be broken by anything.
Of course, you having complete control can cause a few things to happen. Sometimes, your mind will have to adapt to several repeated statements with specific conscious meanings. For example, your subconscious mind associates certain phrases, and ideas with abstractions that are usually beyond any rational conscious idea. If I were to say:
"I want this place around me to change into my street." Well, my street can be a lot of different things to the other than conscious. Being specific, even, sometimes does not even help. However, if you decide that there's a door behind you and through it leads to a particular location, it's easier for your mind to get the idea, many have found.
Dream Play is not good to listen to over and over and over again. It's best to alternate out different tapes, and some nights - no paraliminal at all, it seems, for me. I usually will use Side A of Dream Play for one night, Side B the next, no paraliminal but instead simple affirmations the night after that, and then Memory Supercharger, and then Personal Genius(with a purpose of lucid dreaming), and then no paraliminal again, and then back to Dream Play, etc, etc, etc.
Just some thoughts.
