Dear all,
I practised SFQ level 1 active exercise last night at 11:30pm.
After practising for an hour, I could not sleep for all night and I need to wake up at 9am for my regular work.

Could someone please advise whether I have done something wrong.
I am a beginner of SFQ and just started for 3 times and I still need to refer to the DVD when doing the active exercise.

Pls advise whether it is also happened in your case. should i better do the qigong in the morning?

I am a beginner too. However, because I noticed that the active exercises tend to wake me up when I do them in the morning/afternoon when I'm feeling tired, I decided not to do them at night. At night I usually do one of the meditations. I would try doing the active exercise in the morning. If you do qigong in the evening/night try one of the meditations instead.

Aloha Qigongfriend,

Everyone's system is a little different. At some point it may not make a difference for you, however, at this point, you may find as Shalom mentions, that doing one of the sitting meditations in the evening, or keeping them during the morning day may work out better for you.

Much Love, Shawn
