By the way, I still want to read some research into whether and why Paraliminals work. How effective are they?
We are all highly sensitised to the gigantic marketing machine all these personal development wizards have co-created. One advertises and personally endorses the other. Not too sure of the ethics of that....
I can't help thinking that if even a smidgeon of what they claim is true, then they would invest some of their millions in hiring expert researchers to pinpoint what works, and refine, refine, refine.
Bill Harris claims Holosync can reduce/alleviate depression. If this really is so, why on earth doesn't he get concrete evidence for this? For genuine sufferers of depression, Holosync would be a miracle. Just plug in earphones, relax and let your depression vanish.
If I were Paul Scheele, I would find a band of alcoholics, give them a Break the Habit Paraliminal and do long-term research on them. Does it work? For whom? When? How? Why?
I am a trained researcher and I would love to see these guys putting their product on the line and seriously promoting humanity. Either it works, or it does partially. If it doesn't take it off the market. If it works partially, work on perfecting it, or telling us its limitations and how to work it best. The world would be a better place!
End of rant!
