Hi:
Your photo reading system talks about the famous point of attention meaning the famous tangerine at the back of the head (where vertical meets horizontal). My question is shouldn't the point of attention be on the book pages rather than the back of the head: you're trying to photoread not contemplate the back of your head? Tell me I'm wrong but it does appear to be a contradiction?

The book states you have seven different sources of information at any given time. What the instruction is telling about the famous tangerine is to get your conscious part of the brain busy with something else. You do not want your conscious brain to distract your relaxation when photo-reading because if so it will force you to look at the words and letters then you are in the process of logic analysis again.

The tangerine technique is to help you switch on your ideal state for reading. You bring your awareness to a fixed point behind your head. Then you begin PhotoReading or activating as the case may be.

The awareness is still there just as you are aware of where you are when you are reading.
