Hi Claire,
You postings are always great and inspirational.
I think you must be highly commended for having taken the radical change of moving country yet again. This time from your native Ireland. You did not explain whether you had moved back to the same place in Ireland you were born and grew up. It is a lot harder to make new friend in a new place, mostly in a rural area where people tend to be very conservative. They may be friendly and polite, but at the decision making stage (ie who will get the coveted job which is rare to come by... you or some old cronie?) old allegiances will prevail. Your generosity and willingness to reach out for the community encountered the turkey mentality. You were perceived as a threat, so they gave you a clear message that they did not want you around.
Of course, all the social interplay is very much a game of two sides. It may be that at the end you felt alienated and that caused a lot more friction within the community for you. I can understand how hurt you felt in your native country. Probably that spilled over to the new country initially, so some turkeys gave you a hard time. However, this time you had changed a lot from before, so you attracted the eagles to rescue you.
I am sure that the sale of your heritage mansion will represent the step towards your goal of wealth with the 1/2 million euros yearly income. As you change yourself, you will attract what you need. I believe handling the sale yourself is very important, even if logistically probably a bit hard. Having to show your mansion around to a potential buyer will require you to return to Ireland. However, as your life is more and more aligned, the right opportunity will manifest itself and everything will run smoothly. Maybe you need to insert the sale of the mansion in your five daily goals so you can attract the buyer. You can do lots of advertising on the internet to help the goal to materialise.
