Hello,

I work with a Mac, since several years, and now with Mac Os X, the dustbin is in the dock. We can change the place of the dock (left, right, below on the board), but that's all... So my dustbin is always in the wrong place...lolol in Feng Shui practice !

Just like trying to find a place to put the trash can in a room and tucking it in a cabinet or cupboard, you can set your "dock" to "Turn Hiding On."

That's what I do since the options for placing the trash with OS X (without going to a third-party program that will place it as a movable icon on the desktop), don't alow it to be placed anywhere but the NW and NE corners.

I was just going to try your suggestion. Great ! It's running. But when I'm working on the Mac I need to have the dock on the board, it's easier... lolol. For the night or when I switch off the Mac I'll turn Hiding on. Do you think that is well ?

Your other option is to find a 3rd party app to separate the trash bin, so you can put it in one of your not best directions.

There are directions online for you to do this yourself, but I'd pass on that unless you are really comfortable with coding.
