Is it just me, or is E-book photoreading and activating much harder than a normal book? I really had a hard time doing it and my SR and dipping was showing me passages that did'nt really answer my questions. What's wrong?

Reading on a computer is 25% slower than with a book. Also you cannot as easily jump to the relevant pages.

So I transfer e-books to my e-book reader. While jumping to the relevant pages isn't as easy I find I can rapid read it much faster than at a computer.

May I ask what e-book reader do you use? I imagine this is some sort of program you have purchased. Can you provide a Web Link or further information on the program provider? Will the program allow for multiple file formats (eg: PDF, Word etc)?

I actually read a lot faster on a computer than I do with a printed book. I just use the page down key to blast through PDF files etc. Now, there are two ways to stare at the screen, in my opinion. One is to picture an X running from the corners of the screen (similar to what you would do if you were sighted in only one eye) or you can use Adobe Acrobat Reader and use the two page view. As for super reading and dipping, I just start at the beginning and hit page down. I scan the page really quickly for anything that jumps out at me and then hit page down again. I can get through a book really quickly this way.

PhotoReading on the computer is a breeze. Reading on the computer screen is not. That's why I recommend learning on paper based books first.

My iRex accepts, mobipocket which allows me to PhotoRead the text before transferring to the iRex. It also takes in doc, html and pdf files. I can also write my own notes onto pdf files and blank screens.

I also like the fact that I can carry over 600 books in one hand.
