There are several threads about the accelerator...here is a link that I'm pretty sure will answer some of your questions. It will be fine to listen to other cds with the accelerator. I like to listen to the Focus and Concentration cd on sundays to start my week out. Some sundays I listen with the accelerator others I don't.
