Too open for me. It doesn't give me something to know that I know what I need to know.
I think its reasonable to expect that you have a "working knowledge" of software project management and principles. That way can self check... if someone asked me to handle this today is my knowledge workable, can I apply it? What do I need to know to apply it? If I had to do this could I trust my knowledge with reasonable confidence>
I also suggest you use that as the big goal and might have mini purposes for the books and chapters themselves. So your purpose for the session/chapter might be To be able to fix x problem using the information in chapter y. From there you can make mind probing questions with that goal in mind.
