Would items like a water colored bath sponge or bottle of mouth wash in the south weaken or destroy the fire element? Even if you have your element or enhancing element is clearly represented, can a small amount of a weakening or destroying element cause chaos?

Also, I have storage areas in my success and general success directions. I store poison in the general success direction, and I store household cleaners in the kitchen trash in my success direction. Is this causing any harm?

As for your first question, there needs to be balance in all areas. Just because your bedroom falls into a "wood" element sector, doesn't mean there can't be any wood in it. Look at balance, and have the sector's element, or enhancing element/color stand out more than the rest.

Question two- Are the storage areas, trash, and poisons covered/hidden in a cupboard, etc.?

Make sure your best directions in your bedroom and living room are supportive and decluttered.

Then they aren't as much of an issue, since they aren't displayed to the universe.
