The Bible quote is good AND Master Lin emphasizes that we do not have to wait until we heal ourselves to help heal others. He says that, healing others can help heal ourselves. We bring a lot more healing energy by opening ourselves to the love energy of the UNiverse and then just a small amount is need to help heal our loved ones.
I do agree with the concentration part of what you took away from my message. And I would add, you can also concentrate on healing your friend, just let go of the notion of "convincing" anyone.
I would even apply that to your own healing as well. In other words, my basic point, was not so much as to who comes first, but what. When we focus on evidence, it takes away energy from the healing.
So my point, was let go of any need for evidence right now and just work with the tools. Let go of schedules, amount of healing needed to make sure this works, etc.
If and when you can, do Sword Fingers on your friend (and others as well) and/or teach him some of the simple movements, that is fine at any stage. You need the practice in Sword Fingers as well as the Active EXercise and the meditations! So, if he is open, go for it.
The stories will come later. Now, you already have the program, just focus on doing it: with yourself, with your friend, with your pets, with family, with anyone. Don't push and if there is no opening, let it go for now.
If there is an opening, tell Master Lin's story and you can add one or two from BORN A HEALER. And then show them "Moving of Yin and Yang" and/or "Breathing of the Universe". Do it with them for a few minutes and add your intention for their healing after the password when you call upon your Master's Energy.
It will work. No need for "proof". Just focus on it working. Period.
That was my main message.
Having said all that, there is something to the Bible quote there, since if we don't practice, it is harder to convince ourselves, let alone anyone else. So, the key is practice.
I need to focus on that as well!
