Hi Cleo,
I believe there are many posts on various approaches regarding how to help someone else in the archives, as well as the support material in the courses. The specific symptom of having a bad taste in the mouth, doesn't alter how you would always work with the whole of someone, and proceed the same way, regardless of the specifics, or particular story. Both level I and level II provide ways to include or help friends, directly and indirectly.
There is a message in " the bad taste in my mouth, is causing me depression". Help her to see that message and change it. This is a reaction to her having this bad taste, and it serves no constructive purpose going forward. Quite the opposite. the sooner that message is changed, the better. The best case scenerio, is getting her started in her own self practice, and supporting that as her friend or as the healer. Defining some general things regarding healing, healer, self practice, blockages, energy, is good, if the person is receptive. Part of being a healer, is being a teacher too.
love,
