Hi,

Been thinking....

If we can clear all energy blockages with qigong and by living with love, kindness, compassion and forgiveness, then why do we transition out of this body/lifetime (die)?

Guess I'm thinking two things.

One, again everything happens for a reason and generally for a spiritual reason. We're here in this body in this lifetime for a reason. And, we're here in this body in this lifetime for a finite period of time to learn what we choose to learn. So, ultimately we pass on to the next lifetime.

Also believe that Master Lin is thinking he plans to live to 240. So, that intrigues me and I want to learn more about this. But, without much knowledge of this, believe there have been spiritual masters over the millenium (right?) that have lived much longer than we consider "normal" for human beings, right?

Anyone with some further insights into all this?

Thanks and loving blessings,

Lynn

Hi Lynn,
It is helpful to point out that there are basically two types of energy that exist, universal and spiritual. Universal energy pretains to the physical universe, as well as our physical bodies. "There are laws to the physical universe", physical energy, that we are all subject too.

By working with universal energy and spiritual energy, which is unlimited, we can transformatively work with the energy. Life style is a big factor in this. So, we can work with the energy in ways that promote health and long life. Spiritual energy is more the wild card, and one certainly doesn't need to place boundaries on possibilities.

The last thing that the Buddha said upon his death was in reference to 'impermance', a concept you can do some further study on if you like. He basically said that anything that is created, will at some point pass. Then he said to strive on with diligence!
